I offer Family Mediation Services virtually accross all of Ontario. In-person mediation is available upon request at our Ottawa office.
What is Mediation?
As the legal system becomes more time consuming and costly for individuals, many are turning to Mediation to resolve their disputes. Mediation involves a trained professional who assists all sides of a dispute come to a resolution outside of the court room.
As your Mediator, I will listen to all sides and help identify and clarify each parties needs, wants, and issues, and then facilitate a resolution that combines the interests and needs of all parties based upon their unique circumstances.
This will involve all parties working through their differences and establishing a plan that will move them forwards. Mediation allows you to take control of your own process, and come to an agreement that was designed by both parties, for both parties, in the best interests of them and any children they may have.

Family Mediation - Parenting Plans
Parenting Plans can be the foundation for a family moving forwards from separation. Parenting plans typically involve, but are not limited too: Parenting-time, Decision-Making, Child support, and Communication Outlines.
Child Support and Spousal Support
This includes support amount calculations, section 7 expenses for children, and actionable plans for the payments of any outstanding support arrears as well as future payment arrangements.
Property Divison
Once the deicion to separate is made, people typically come across the issue of property division. Property includes items such as the matrimonial homes, bank accounts, pensions, RRIFs, RRSP, etc.

FEES - All mediation services are charged at $200 per hour, divided equally between both parties. Intake sessions are charged at $100.
