About Sam

Samantha graduated from the University of Ottawa with Majors in Criminology and Psychology, following which she recently obtained a Certificate in Family Mediation from York University. She is an Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Family Mediators (OAFM). She is proud to be able to run her Mediation practice as part of Rita Asangarani Law Firm Professional Corporation. After 10 years of working as a legal clerk in the field of law, including Family Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estates, she came to realize that the court system is not always the most beneficial for families in dispute. She has a passion for helping families find unique and collaborative solutions to their issues outside of the courthouse.

In her spare time Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, going for long walks, and painting.
